The East Hampton Guidance and Counseling Department is proud to announce Gianna Gregorio as this year’s sophomore ambassador to the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program.

Founded in 1958, HOBY’s mission is to inspire and develop our global community of youth dedicated to leadership, service and innovation. One sophomore from each high school is eligible to participate in the HOBY programs conducted annually throughout the United States. This year’s conference for the Metro New York Area will be held at Adelphi University from June 10-12, 2016. Gianna was selected from an applicant pool of current sophomores based on a required essay, interview, résumé, community service and academic achievements to date.
Also identified for recognition through the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards Program were August Gladstone, Hunter Medler, Alexander Sigua Pintado, Eamon Spencer, Jacarra Stephens, Isabella Swanson and Alexander Swickard. Congratulations to all!
