REGISTRATION: Please contact instructors at the numbers or emails listed to reserve the course of your choice. Classes run from March 12 through May 11, 2018 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, unless otherwise noted. If a class is cancelled due to insufficient registration, the instructor will notify you. Admission is on a first come, first serve basis.


STORMS & OTHER CANCELLATIONS: Classes will be cancelled if school is closed due to weather. Please check the radio and television for school closings in inclement weather. If an instructor needs to cancel a class for another reason, instructors will notify students. Also, classes will not be held if the district is closed for a holiday.  School is closed the week of April 2, 2018 – April 6, 2018.


PAYMENT: Make checks payable to instructors on or before first night of class. There can be no refunds once a class has started.




BEGINNING BEEKEEPING CLASS: Deborah Klughers, Commercial Beekeeper and EAS Master Beekeeper Candidate will offer detailed information on keeping honey bees. You will learn basic honey bee biology, how to work with honey bees, seasonal management, disease & pest prevention, identification, management, & treatment, equipment & honey bee options & procurement, products of the hive, the latest research and much more. This class is great for newbees, beehavers & beekeepers who would like to increase their knowledge on this fascinating animal and hobby! Class will be held at the East Hampton High School and starts on Tuesday March 20, 2018: 6:30-9:00PM. 6 sessions: 3/20,3/27,4/10,4/17, 4/24, 5/1. Fee: $120.
