A Visit From the Jackson Pollock Museum

The Jackson Pollock Museum is visiting the first grade classes this week. The students were able to discover creative ways Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner and other artists expressed their feelings with paint during a fun filled interactive art slide show. Inspired by Pollock, the student's let their emotions out as they dripped paint from sticks to create an abstract painting. They were also exposed to the innovative technique of Lee Krasner by making a collage-painting by pasting shapes to the canvas to show your feelings. We will be visiting the Museum in May.
