East Hampton students Dylan Camacho and Madison Gregg were honored at the Long Island Business Teachers Association Annual Awards Luncheon, held at Carlyle at the Palace in Plainview on May 24. Dylan and Madison received plaques for their fourth- and first-place awards in the LIBTA competition for entrepreneurship and word processing, respectively. More than 240 students from 20 schools across Long Island participated in the competition, which was held in April.

Madison also received a $250 scholarship in the name of Ellen Caskey, a founder of the LIBTA. This award is given to only the top business students on Long Island who will be pursuing a business major in college. In the fall, Madison will be attending High Point University, where she will major in business administration. Congratulations to both of our students!
