Students to Attend Leadership Institute

Four students from East Hampton High School will be attending the 2016 Angelo Del Toro Puerto Rican/Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute. The institute affords Hispanic youth greater insight into the dynamic nature of state government and offers participants the opportunity to develop leadership skills.

Students selected to attend the PR/HYLI as delegates travel to Albany to participate in a mock assembly session in the New York State Assembly Chamber and have the opportunity to interact with state legislators. Additionally, college-bound seniors are eligible to compete for scholarships.

The students who will attend the institute are Jennifer Barahona, Pasioly Coste, Cristina Jimenez and Priscila Ortega.
