Art Students Visit MoMA

This week, the National Art Honor Society and AP Studio classes from East Hampton High School visited the Museum of Modern Art thanks to a generous grant from the Alexander Maxwell Grant Foundation.

Students viewed both special exhibitions and the permanent collections on display. Aside from just viewing the pieces, they also collected information to enhance their own art skills and then create a work inspired by the exhibits that will go on to become submissions to the Alexander Maxwell Grant Foundation Fundraiser in June.

The AMG Foundation, which strives to support enriching educational experiences for young artists, made this trip possible through a generous grant to the National Art Honor Society.
